Sometimes the most beautiful part of a day is not what you're wearing but who you're with...

Oh and yes...this dress does make me want to twirl round and round like a little girl at the playground...but my dangerously high shoes keep me grounded and acting like a lady for fear of ending my life in a tragic sidewalk accident.  Mental note:  I can be dragged easily by my dogs when wearing heels...

The GOOD
-  PUPPIESSSSSSS!!!!  I picked up SEVEN puppies to rehome on my trip back to South Texas.  Our family is environmentally friendly, pet friendly..blahblahblah....if you you have a pet you don't want, we'll take it, fatten it up, cut its hair, polish its nails and send it on its way to another home where hopefully they will love it forever.
-  The beautiful yellow rose that my parents bought my little sister to plant in front of their bedroom window to 'keep a little sunshine at the house when everyone is gone'.  All three of us daughters live at least four hours away.  Tears were had in the middle of the Mission flea market by a group of ladies wearing overly large sun hats.
-Puppies.....
-MUFE foundation...I don't know what I would do without it....

The BAD
-  My mother saying, "You know your father.  He's very HTD."....she meant ADD....
-  The cashier at the dollar store whose nails were so long she kept typing in the wrong numbers.  Or maybe they were too heavy.  Those things were bling blinging...

The UGLY
-  My family's obsession love with Clint Eastwood.  He's a continuous presence on our television during holidays...weekends...birthdays...
-  That jelly fish sting that just will not heal....someone please pee on me at once!!!

....No seriously....We took a couple of minutes today to take some pictures...and I am pretty sure I am dangerously dehydrated because of it...the perils of blogging.  I ran out of the house to run some errands and my makeup started to literally MELT OFF.....Just keeping it real.

I think this title says it all...I'M ON A BOAT!!  This past Saturday I kidnapped my family and ran away to the Island.  Funny story....I've been to the island about ten times, but had never been in the water or on a boat......I guess it was not as much a funny story as a weird story.  

Anyway, I spent most of the time in the water jumping up against waves and getting flipped over and pulled under....seriously, if you passed by the beach that day and saw two twiggy pale sticks sticking out of the ocean, you should have stopped to say hello to my legs.... I fought the waves and the waves won.  I have the two jelly fish stings to prove it.  The sand was so hot that the soles of my feet blistered...I wonder if Victoria's Secret Models have to endure this sort of stuff when they KNEEL in the sand making constipated sexy faces...My respect ladies...

My experience on the beach was in a word....AWESOME!!!  I walk around showing strangers my sunburns, stings, and blisters.  Seriously, I'm that person.  I am already planing a return trip in two weeks.  I fully plan on returning with rain boots to guard against the hot sand and two bottles of urine vinegar for any jelly fish stings.  Clearly I am bringing sexy back.
